• Social Media Connections: If you connect TikTok or YouTube accounts, we store OAuth tokens to post content on your behalf.
• Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information directly.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Clip Metadata: We collect information about your Twitch clips (title, game, duration, thumbnail, view count).
• Usage Data: We track how you use our service (features accessed, clips processed, posts published).
• Performance Metrics: For Pro users, we collect performance data from social media platforms (views, likes, engagement rates).
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and access times for security and service improvement.

1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

• Twitch: We access your public Twitch profile, clips created on your channel, and stream metadata.
• TikTok/YouTube: We access posting permissions and retrieve performance metrics for posted content.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide Our Service: Generate AI captions for your clips and post them to social media platforms on your behalf.
• Process Payments: Manage your subscription and billing through Stripe.
• Improve Our Service: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features and user experience.
• Provide Analytics: Track performance of your posted clips and provide insights (Pro).
• Customer Support: Respond to your questions and resolve technical issues.
• Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Communications: Send you service updates, feature announcements, and promotional emails (you can opt-out).
• Legal Compliance: Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 Service Providers

We share your information with third-party service providers who help us operate our service:

• Anthropic (Claude AI): We send clip thumbnails and metadata to generate captions. Anthropic does not store your content.
• Supabase: Our database and authentication provider. They host your account data securely.
• Stripe: Payment processing. They handle your payment information securely.
• Cloud Storage: We may use cloud storage services to temporarily store video files during processing.

3.2 Social Media Platforms

When you authorize us to post on your behalf, we share:

• Video content from your Twitch clips
• AI-generated captions you've approved
• Hashtags and metadata you've selected

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

3.4 Business Transfers

If STVE.ai is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners.

3.5 Twitch Data Compliance

We access and use Twitch data in accordance with Twitch's Developer Services Agreement. We do not sell, license, or distribute Twitch user data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes. Twitch data is used solely to provide our clip processing and posting services to you.

4. Google/YouTube Data Usage

4.1 What Google/YouTube Data We Access

When you connect your YouTube account to STVE.ai, we request access to the following data through Google OAuth:

• YouTube Upload Permission: We access the youtube.upload scope to post videos (Shorts) to your YouTube channel on your behalf.
• Basic Profile Information: Your Google account email and name for authentication purposes.

We do NOT access:

• Your YouTube viewing history or watch data
• Your YouTube subscriptions or playlists
• Private videos on your channel
• Comments, likes, or engagement data beyond videos we post
• Any Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other Google service data

4.2 How We Use Google/YouTube Data

We use your YouTube data solely to:

• Post Videos: Upload processed Twitch clips as YouTube Shorts to your channel when you explicitly approve and click "Post to YouTube"
• Authentication: Verify your identity and maintain your connected account status

We do NOT use your Google/YouTube data for:

• Advertising or marketing purposes
• Selling or sharing with third parties for their commercial purposes
• Training AI models or analytics beyond service functionality
• Any purpose unrelated to posting your approved content

4.3 How We Store Google/YouTube Data

• OAuth Tokens: We store your YouTube OAuth access and refresh tokens securely in our encrypted database (Supabase) to maintain your connection.
• Token Encryption: All OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption (AES-256).
• Minimal Retention: We only store the data necessary to provide our service. We do not store your YouTube videos, channel content, or analytics data.
• Secure Infrastructure: Our database is hosted on Supabase with SOC 2 Type II compliance.

4.4 How We Share Google/YouTube Data

We share your Google/YouTube data only in these limited circumstances:

• With YouTube: When you click "Post to YouTube," we send your processed video to YouTube's API for upload to your channel.
• No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your Google/YouTube data with any third parties for advertising, analytics, or commercial purposes.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or valid legal process.

4.5 Google Limited Use Disclosure

STVE.ai's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only use Google data to provide and improve user-facing features visible to you.
• We do not transfer Google data to others unless necessary to provide our service, with your consent, or for legal reasons.
• We do not use Google data for advertising purposes.
• We do not allow humans to read your Google data except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, or to comply with the law.

4.6 Revoking YouTube Access

You can disconnect your YouTube account and revoke STVE.ai's access at any time:

• From STVE Dashboard: Go to Settings → Connected Accounts → YouTube → Disconnect
• From Google: Visit Google Account Permissions and remove STVE.ai

Upon disconnection, we will delete your YouTube OAuth tokens from our database within 24 hours.

5. TikTok Data Usage

5.1 What TikTok Data We Access

When you connect your TikTok account to STVE.ai, we request access to the following data through TikTok OAuth:

• Video Upload Permission: We access the video.upload scope to post videos to your TikTok account on your behalf.
• Basic Profile Information: Your TikTok username and display name for authentication purposes (user.info.basic scope).

We do NOT access:

• Your TikTok viewing history or For You page data
• Your TikTok followers or following lists
• Private videos or drafts on your account
• Comments, likes, or engagement data beyond videos we post
• Your direct messages or inbox

5.2 How We Use TikTok Data

We use your TikTok data solely to:

• Post Videos: Upload processed Twitch clips to your TikTok account when you explicitly approve and click "Post to TikTok"
• Authentication: Verify your identity and maintain your connected account status

We do NOT use your TikTok data for:

• Advertising or marketing purposes
• Selling or sharing with third parties for their commercial purposes
• Training AI models or analytics beyond service functionality
• Any purpose unrelated to posting your approved content

5.3 How We Store TikTok Data

STVE.ai's use of information received from TikTok APIs adheres to TikTok's API Terms of Service and TikTok's Privacy Policy. Specifically:

• We only use TikTok data to provide user-facing features visible to you.
• We do not transfer TikTok data to others except as necessary to provide our service.
• We do not use TikTok data for advertising or commercial purposes beyond our service.
• We comply with TikTok's data handling and security requirements.

5.6 Revoking TikTok Access

You can disconnect your TikTok account and revoke STVE.ai's access at any time:

• From STVE Dashboard: Go to Settings → Connected Accounts → TikTok → Disconnect
• From TikTok: Go to TikTok Settings → Security and Login → Manage App Permissions → Remove STVE.ai

Upon disconnection, we will delete your TikTok OAuth tokens from our database within 24 hours.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• Encryption: All data transmitted between you and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS.
• Secure Storage: OAuth tokens and sensitive data are encrypted at rest in our database.
• Access Controls: Only authorized personnel have access to user data.
• Regular Audits: We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

• Account Data: We retain your account information as long as your account is active.
• Clip Data: We store clip metadata and generated captions for the duration of your subscription.
• Analytics Data: Performance metrics are retained for up to 12 months.
• After Account Deletion: We delete your personal information within 30 days of account closure, except where required by law.

8. Your Rights and Choices

8.1 Access and Correction

You can access and update your account information through your dashboard at dashboard.stve.ai.

8.2 Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8.3 Disconnect Services

You can disconnect connected social media accounts (Twitch, TikTok, YouTube) at any time through your dashboard.

8.4 Marketing Communications

You can opt-out of promotional emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or updating your preferences in your dashboard.

8.5 Cookie Preferences

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect service functionality.

8.6 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

• Right to know what personal information we collect
• Right to delete your personal information
• Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your information)

STVE.ai is based in the United States. If you are accessing our service from outside the US, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US or other countries. By using our service, you consent to such transfers.
