The Story

A passion project that refused to stay a side project

STVE (pronounced Steve) is an AI streaming character for Twitch and Kick streamers.

STVE isn't affiliated with Steve.ai, the AI video tool.

Hey — I'm Scott. Programmer by day, small streamer by nights and weekends. I've always been obsessed with the tech side of streaming — not just going live, but what's possible when you start wiring things together. Automations, overlays, things that make chat lose their minds. The kind of stuff that turns a regular stream into something people remember.

I built STVE because I couldn't find what I wanted anywhere else. And honestly? I'm excited. Scared. Can't stop tinkering. This is what happens when a passion project becomes real — and I can't wait to get it into the hands of streamers of all sizes.

The Tinkering

Rage meters, Hue lighting controlled by voice commands, chat-driven widgets — I was building stream tools before I knew what I was doing. Every idea started with "wouldn't it be cool if…" and ended with duct-taped code that somehow worked.

The Response

People loved them. Chat went wild for the rage meter. Viewers started requesting features. But when streamers asked "how do I get this?" — I didn't have an answer. The tools lived and died on my machine.

The Click

I'd always had the concepts and a general understanding of what was needed, but not the chops to build it for real. Then Claude Code came along. Two months of late nights, rabbit holes, and "holy shit, this actually works" moments — and STVE went from a pile of ideas to a fully functional platform.

The Launch

STVE isn't built by a company. It's built by a streamer who got tired of wishing tools existed and decided to make them. Every feature comes from actually sitting in that chair, live, wondering why nobody's solved this yet.

The Mission

Everyone's talking about AI — but most of it isn't built for you. STVE is an AI streaming character who lives on your Twitch or Kick stream, with his own personality, memories and opinions. After the stream he keeps a desk for clips and recaps. Nothing goes public without your tap.

Think of it as a best friend who never misses a stream.

"Built by a streamer, for streamers. No VC money. No corporate roadmap. Just a guy who couldn't stop building."
